CYO soccer is offered only in the fall for grades 3-8. CYO teams are based on the grades and genders of the players. If registration indicates that there are enough players for more than one team for a given grade, then team composition is determined by a “draft” procedure which endeavors to create balanced teams. However, CYO rules limit roster sizes, so not all children can be guaranteed a place on a team. Games are played on weeknights and weekends against other Catholic parishes throughout the Cleveland Diocese. CYO teams typically practice one or more times each week during the season.
